Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Denforge, operated by DENLEY (UK) LIMITED (“we”, “us”), collects and uses personal data when you use our website and the Denforge subscription service. Denforge is an online-only digital subscription for drafting engineering documentation and concept visuals.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is DENLEY (UK) LIMITED, 8 Monkbarns Drive Arbroath, DD11 2DS, United Kingdom. For any privacy question or request, contact support@denluk.shop or call +44 7818044298.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and authentication data when you register or subscribe.
  • Subscription & billing data: plan, billing status, and payment confirmations. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
  • Tool inputs: the engineering ideas, descriptions, and any files or reference images you submit to the studio.
  • Generated results: the specs, diagrams, explainer storyboards, and briefs produced from your inputs.
  • Support data: messages you send us through the contact and support forms.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and usage events needed to run and secure the service.

3. Collection sources

Our data collection sources are: (a) directly from you — registration, subscription, studio inputs including your user input and uploaded files, and contact/support forms; (b) automatically from your device — cookies and server logs (IP, device, usage events); and (c) from our payment processor — billing confirmations. We do not buy personal data from third parties or collect it from data brokers.

4. Why we use it and legal bases

  • Provide the service (draft specs, render visuals, export briefs) — performance of a contract.
  • Billing and subscription management — performance of a contract and legal obligation.
  • Support and communication — legitimate interests and performance of a contract.
  • Security, fraud prevention, and service improvement — legitimate interests.
  • Analytics and non-essential cookies — consent, where required.

5. Payment provider boundary

Payments are handled by Stripe as an independent processor. Stripe collects and processes your card details directly; Denforge does not touch, receive, or store full card numbers. Stripe’s handling of payment data is governed by its own privacy terms.

6. AI data handling: user input, generated results, and uploads

Your user input (the engineering ideas and descriptions you type), uploaded files and sample/reference data, and the generated results (specs, diagrams, explainer storyboards, briefs) are processed only to operate the service — to draft your document, render concept visuals, and export your brief. Your user input and uploads are sent to our AI provider solely to return your results. We do not use your user input, uploads, sample data, or generated results to train AI models. Uploaded reference material is retained for processing and cleared after 30 days by default; generated results tied to your account are kept until you delete them, and you can request deletion of your user input, uploads, and results at any time.

7. Who we share it with

We share data only with processors that help us run the service, under contract and only as needed:

  • Hosting & delivery: our cloud hosting provider.
  • Payments: Stripe.
  • Database & authentication: our managed database and auth provider.
  • Email & support: our email/support tooling.
  • AI provider: the AI provider (model provider) that powers drafting and visual generation, which processes your user input and uploads solely to return your results and does not train models on them.

We do not sell your personal data.

8. International transfers

Some processors may store or process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

9. How long we keep it

Account and billing records are kept for the life of your account and as long as required for legal and tax purposes. Studio inputs, uploads, and generated results follow the retention window above (default 30 days for uploads) unless you save them to your account or request deletion. Support messages are kept for up to 24 months.

10. Your rights (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Under CCPA, you may request disclosure of the categories of data we collect and request deletion, and you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any right, email support@denluk.shop.

11. Do Not Sell or Share

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no need to opt out of a sale because none takes place.

12. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site and, where you consent, limited analytics to understand usage. See the Cookie Policy for detail and choices.

13. Automated decisions and children

We do not make legally significant decisions about you by solely automated means. Denforge is not directed at children: it is not available to anyone under 13, and users aged 13–17 require verifiable guardian consent.

14. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and regulators of a qualifying breach as required by law.

15. Complaints and contact

Contact us first at support@denluk.shop and we will try to resolve any concern. UK/EU users may also complain to their data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). Governing law: England and Wales.
